Reasons Why You Should Watch Nomad of Nowhere

calliecat93

  • A mute protagonist where him being mute isn’t made out to be a problem or big deal and he’s so expressive that you don’t care.
  • Two very well written female characters who have well-defined personalities and aren’t defined by a man
  • Skout is implied (and I think that some staff confirmed) to be on the LGBT spectrum
  • Colorful and fluid 2D animation
  • A light-hearted tone that CAN go into dark territory, but it doens’t damper the light-heartedness and overall it balances out it’s elements well
  • The Critters are just as adorable as the Nomad
  • Nomad is precious
  • Very talented cast involved in both major and guest roles (Elizabeth Maxwell, Alexander Saab, Shannon McCormick, Lee Eddy, Brittney Karbowski, Daman Mills, Ian Sinclair, ProZD, a lot of Texas-based/anime talent is likely to pop up). It also has some RT talent like Ryan Haywood, Adam Ellis, and Blaine Gibson pop up in guest roles… well Ryan’s is a regular minor supporting role, but still.
  • Speaking of, Ryan using a Southern accent. It is just as amazing as it sounds.
  • A lot of PoC/diverse characters that is again not made out as a big deal
  • A lot of well written humor and dialogue
  • LOTS OF FEELS!!!
  • Many of the people behind Camp Camp are behind this one, so if you like that show, this one may be worth giving a shot!
  • Awesome Western and Magic setting! It’s really cool and unique for this kind of show.
  • Did I mention that the Nomad is precious? I mean look at him!

And if anyone wants, feel free to add more! But seriously, Nomad is a really good show. Good characters, funny dialogue, a light-hearted tone that’s not afraid to go out of it’s comfort zone, and engaging story, and plenty of emotion and heart within. Go and check it out! You won’t regret it!
